Financial calculators

See the number before you commit to it.

Five interactive calculators with charts - SIP, lumpsum, goal planning, step-up SIP and XIRR. No sign-up, nothing stored, and no one calls you afterwards.

What each one answers

SIP

What a fixed monthly investment could grow to over a chosen period and assumed rate.

Lumpsum

What a one-time investment could become, and how much of it is growth rather than capital.

Goal planning

Work backwards from an amount you need to the monthly investment that would get you there.

Step-up SIP

What happens when you raise your SIP each year in line with your income, instead of leaving it flat.

XIRR

What these numbers do not tell you

Compounding charts are persuasive, which is exactly why they deserve a warning label.

The rate is an assumption, not a forecast

Every result here depends on a return you typed in. Markets do not deliver a steady annual number - they deliver a sequence, and the order matters as much as the average.

Nothing here accounts for costs

Expense ratios, exit loads and transaction costs are not modelled. Real outcomes will be lower than the chart.

A plan is not a calculation

These tools size a decision; they do not make one. Which scheme, which asset mix and what to do when markets fall are the parts that actually decide the outcome.

Turn the number into a plan

If the figure looks about right, the next question is what to put the money into. That is where our research and our fund servicing come in.

These calculators are illustrative tools that use assumed rates of return. They do not account for costs, taxes or the sequence of actual market returns, and they do not constitute investment advice or a projection of any particular outcome. Actual returns will vary and are not guaranteed. Investment in securities market are subject to market risks. Read all the related documents carefully before investing.
